The cart rides, the different interpretation centres which will catch the attention of young and not-so-young, the museums, fishing outfitters, farm animals’ visit, wild animals watching including the black bear at the entrance of the town of Sacré-Coeur. For birdwatchers, the town of Baie-Sainte-Catherine, at the mouth of the Saguenay, is one of the best areas to watch birds of prey, sparrows and waterfowls. The packages’ prices vary according to the type of boat and the length of the cruise.   ACTIVITIES OF ALL SORTS CLOSE BY Horseback Riding Cross-country, forest or trail horseback riding along a river leading to a waterfall, length: 1h10 $24+tx./pers. The popular hiking to the caverns. For this destination, riders will have to walk at least about 10 minutes in the mountain. From there, the view is superb. We take a few minutes to show you the inside of the caverns before coming back to our mounts to continue the 2-hour excursion. $45.+tx./pers.   Hiking Whether you are taking Sentier des Chutes, a 6-km return trail perfect if you are taking the kids with you, or Sentier des Castors, forming a 10-km loop, the landscapes will change all along the hike. Fields, forest, mountain, rivers, waterfalls and sometimes beavers’ dam. Bring a snack and of course your camera since there's no shortage of nice views. All of this without mentioning a fine sand beach at only 3 km where only birds and the sound of the waves will disturb you.   Whales and Fjord: (Departures: 9:45 am, 1:00 pm and 3:45 pm) Discover the nicest whale watching site in the world!
